Mrs. Steffi Dozier of South Carthage died at 2:08 a.m. Monday morning October 27, 2014 at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville following an extended illness. She was 54.

Mrs. Dozier was cremated on Friday at Cumberland Family Services in Algood and a memorial celebration of her life was conducted Sunday afternoon at the Abundant Harvest Worship Center in South Carthage. The church pastor, Bro. Randy Teat, officiated at the 2 p.m. services.

Born Stephanie Pam Greenbaum in Baltimore, Maryland on October 12, 1960, she was the daughter of Judith E. Greenbaum of Deerfield Beach, Florida and the late Herbert M. Greenbaum who preceded her in death on August 22, 2014 at the age of 83.

On August 25, 2005 in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida she was united in marriage to New York City native Norman Garland “Norm” Dozier Jr.

Mrs. Dozier was a commodities broker with Executive Commodities in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and an agent for both United Health Care and Assurant.

The Dozier’s relocated from Fort Lauderdale to Nashville in 2006 and moved to South Carthage in 2013.

She was a non-denominational Christian and attended the Lighthouse Church at New Middleton.

An avid dog lover, she is survived by four Chihuahuas, Joey, Dottie, Momo, and Betty Littles.

Surviving in addition to her husband of over nine years and her mother are four children, Ian Dozier and wife Elizabeth of Deerfield Beach, FL, Julia Dozier-Petway and husband Jake of Bronx, New York, Jordon Dozier and Lauren Williams of Tampa, FL; grandchild, Jude Dozier of Tampa, FL; sister, Betsy Pearl and husband Steve of Boynton Beach, FL; step-mother, Gay Greenbaum of Boynton Beach, FL; father-in-law, Rev. Dr. Norman Garland Dozier Sr. assistant pastor of St. Joseph A.M.E. Zion in Chesapeake, Vermont.
