I was there. Tragic house fire claimed this mans life. He did not adjust well to adult life after school. He struggled with a few demons that would not let go nor did he have the strength to let them go.

Bobby remembered me when we had to go and take him to the hospital. However, the day of his death the fire had a treamendous jump on us and he succumbed.

I was stunned to see the obituary of Bobby when I logged onto this website September, 2008.

Bobby and I were very close growing up. I've known him ever since 3rd grade at Fort Garrison Elementary. I am proud to say that he was my friend and I will miss him very much!

Bobby and I lost touch somewhere around 1982. I saw him again around 1995 while residing in Owings Mills. Although I know Bobby had some demons he was dealing with during high school, I never knew it had exacerbated to point I noticed in 95'.

Bobby, you were a terrific friend and I loved you. You will be missed...but not forgotten. My deepest condolences to the entire family.

I knew when I read the article in the Sun an old freind was gone Bobby and I went fishing, rode bikes, took drivers ed together and the track team. Bobby showed me how to throw the shot put at a meet one night so I could get my letter. Last time I saw him was 84 I think we lived the Springsteen song I was walking out of the 10 and he was walking in so we went back inside had few drinks and talked about the glory days. Thats the best way to remember someone the glory days.
