I was shocked and saddened to read of Gwen's passing. I remember as such a nice, even tempered friend.

Gwen and I were friends for a brief time in Junior High school. She loved to walk and we saw many movies together at the Pikes theatre. She could be very funny once you got to know her.

Tomorrow will mark Gwen Wolpert's Third Yahrzeit. I know it's very painful for a family to loose someone so young. It only seems like yesterday when Gwen and I were sharing the same classroom in fifth grade. I remember her being very sweet, very sensitive and mature beyond her years. May her family find comfort knowing that she was well thought of by many.
